Potato storage
Last year, we delivered this storage line to a customer in the German state of Lower Saxony via our dealer ROPA. The storage line is currently in full operation and consists of a receiving hopper with double pre-grader, two telescopic conveyors and a storage loader with flat infeed conveyor.
This receiving hopper BSB 4120 with double pre-grader is equipped with star rollers, which ensures optimal transport of the potatoes. The first pre-grader has a drop size of 40 mm, the second pre-grader has a drop size of 50 mm. This allows the customer to pre-grade the potatoes accurately.
The telescopic conveyors are 2x 8 metres long and 800 mm wide. The storage loader has a maximum extended length of 20 metres with a belt width of 800 mm. A flat infeed conveyor is mounted between the telescopic conveyor and the storage loader to ensure a smooth transition.
